Reports say that Jeep’s wildest Grand Cherokee is expected to return with a revised version of the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8. The original Trackhawk produced a ridiculous 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque, sent through an all-wheel-drive system. Jeep has not confirmed the new model’s final output yet, but MotorTrend says the current 710-hp Durango SRT Hellcat provides a realistic reference point. There’s even potential for substantially more power, with 777 horsepower discussed as a possibility depending on which version of the supercharged V8 Jeep ultimately uses.
