There are 35 different SUVs currently available in the global markets from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes combined. Audi leads in terms of lineup size with 14 models, of which 3 are only available in China. Mercedes follows with 11 models (Maybach versions are not included as standalone models). And BMW, the pioneer of the premium SUVs from Germany has 10 different models in its lineup. Due to the recent product offensive at Audi, its SUV lineup is the youngest one in terms of age with an average of 2.76 years since the time of the presentation. The brand has revealed four new models over the last 12 months, and 8 over the last 24 months. The average of the current SUVs from BMW is 4.33 years old, while Mercedes is not far with an average of 4.48 years.
