❗️Porsche just turned a 700-hp 991.2 GT2 RS into a one-off, road-legal Flachbau RS capable of producing roughly 1,221 pounds of rear-axle downforce at 211 mph. This isn’t a new production GT2 RS, but a factory Sonderwunsch commission built from a like-new 2018 GT2 RS Weissach Package with help from Porsche Motorsport, Weissach engineers and Manthey. Its radically flattened front fenders, ultra-thin stacked LED headlights and Grand Prix White bodywork reinterpret the legendary Porsche 935/78 “Moby Dick” for the street. The enormous GT3 R rennsport-inspired rear wing sits nearly two inches higher, has three manually adjustable positions and works with Manthey aero underneath the car. Porsche left the drivetrain untouched, meaning the Flachbau RS keeps the GT2 RS’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing 700 hp and sending power through its seven-speed PDK.
