❗️Koenigsegg just turned one of its biggest racing “what-ifs” into a 1,600-hp road-legal hypercar with the new CCGT1. Built from the CC850 platform, the CCGT1 uses a 5.0-liter twin-turbo flat-plane-crank V8 producing 1,280 hp on pump gas and 1,600 hp on E85. Peak torque is 1,500 Nm / 1,106 lb-ft, while the engine spins to an 8,500-rpm redline. Power goes exclusively to the rear wheels through Koenigsegg’s 9-speed Light Speed Transmission with a race-style sequential shifter. The aero package generates 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, helped by an active rear wing that can switch between low-drag, high-downforce and air-brake modes. Despite its GT1-inspired design, the standard CCGT1 is fully road legal, while an optional Track Package pushes it even further toward circuit use.
