We wanted to elaborate further on the reasons most shops won’t use customer supplied parts. What it really comes down to is… 1. Guaranteed warranty - we deal directly with parts suppliers if there’s an issue with your part. The installation is also covered by the shop. 2. Fitment - the shop has to make sure they’re getting you the right thing, and that it works right the first time. 3. Shop has more control - the shop handles what’s going on through the whole process rather than back-and-forth with the customer if an issue with the part arises. 4. Support small business - when you buy the part from a massive corporation they get the extra margin that would’ve gone to the shop that now gets nothing. 5. Quality control - Mechanics don’t like comebacks. We would rather put a quality part we can trust knowing you won’t be back for the same repair in a few months. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk ✌️
