I don't teach how to fight markups because I don't even notice dealers who charge them—I'm focused on dealers offering $5,000-$7,000 discounts. For used cars, ignore the asking price (it's a made-up algorithm). Instead, find the original Monroney label MSRP and calculate the "True Value Discount": the percentage off that original price. That's where real value is found.
