🔥 Mercedes-AMG is officially bringing back the Black Series, and AMG says the new GT will become the most extreme Black Series it has ever built. The upcoming model is being developed from the wild Concept AMG GT Track Sport, which is also serving as the foundation for AMG’s next-generation GT3 race car. That connection runs unusually deep because Mercedes says the road-legal Black Series will serve as the homologation model for the GT3 successor, effectively linking the street car directly to AMG’s racing program. AMG has been testing Track Sport prototypes since October 2025 at circuits including Bilster Berg, Portimão and Monteblanco, while newer Black Series prototypes have now been spotted attacking the Nürburgring.
