Cousins and rivals. That's how I can first describe the duo Bentley Torcal and 4th generation Porsche Cayenne. The Bentley is based on the current Cayenne right as the first generation Touareg was based on the first Cayenne. This time, they are both electric and use the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) modular architecture. Therefore we are talking of the same base for two SUVs that wear totally different suits. The Cayenne, introduced last year targets a younger audience with an aggressive/sporty look. The Torcal aims at those looking for something fancier and more classy. Two formulas that allow the VW Group to keep fighting in the luxury SUV segments, with very few non-Chinese competitors so far. What's your choice?
