Yamaha came out with the YZ125 for the 1974 model year, it got liquid cooling in ‘81 and a power-valve the next year, a case reed engine in ‘86, inverted forks and 19” rear wheel in ‘89, aluminum frame in ‘05 with the SSS KYB’s the next year, ‘15 had updated plastics, 2022 got an all new engine and updated body.
