Friday he was playing fetch. Saturday, he watched the game with me and seemed like his usual self. By Sunday, Waylon had stopped eating. He tried to play a little on Monday and Tuesday, but quickly gave up. I knew something was wrong, so I got him to the vet Wednesday. Today, Thursday, Waylon had surgery. The rubber C-shaped piece was stuck in the same spot as his February blockage, and the damaged section of his small intestine had to be removed. He’s home now, resting and beginning a longer recovery. We’re taking it one day at a time.
