Technically the car was sold AS-IS, but it had only been two days and I knew what the right thing to do was. The transmission I installed before the sale ended up being bad, so I’m getting another one under warranty and covering the labor myself. I’m not asking the customer for a dollar. Sometimes doing the right thing costs you money. That’s part of the business. Would you have handled it the same way?
