❗️Mercedes-AMG just built the CLE Black Series everyone was waiting for, except it wears the name CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung. Its heavily reworked M177 EVO 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 646 PS, roughly 637 hp, and 627 lb-ft of torque, sending everything exclusively to the rear wheels through a nine-speed AMG transmission. The engine even gets a flat-plane crankshaft for lower rotating mass, sharper response and a completely different character from a normal AMG V8. It hits 62 mph in 3.9 seconds, 124 mph in 11.4 seconds and tops out at 193 mph. AMG stripped roughly 375 pounds from the donor CLE while extensively strengthening the chassis, bringing curb weight down to about 4,178 pounds. A widened carbon-fiber body, polycarbonate rear glass and serious aero help generate well over 550 pounds of downforce at top speed.
