🔥 Ferrari just took its race-winning 296 GT3 formula, removed the competition restrictions, and created the new 296 GT Modificata. Built exclusively for the track, the Modificata is derived from the 296 GT3 Evo but is free from the technical regulations that limit the actual race car. Its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 produces 730 cv and 800 Nm of torque, giving it 130 cv more than the competition-spec 296 GT3 Evo. Ferrari also revised the engine internals, turbochargers, intercoolers, intake system, exhaust and six-speed sequential transmission to unlock even more performance. Aerodynamic changes include a new slotted front splitter, redesigned bodywork and an enormous rear wing engineered specifically for the Modificata. The finished car weighs just 1,330 kg dry, and Ferrari says it can lap Fiorano roughly three seconds quicker than the 296 GT3 Evo.
