The video, which has reportedly surpassed 13 million views, shows the dashboard warning “Closed Eyes Detected. Look Forward” while the driver appears to have his eyes open and pointed straight ahead. Lexus uses an interior driver-monitor camera to determine whether the driver is watching the road, closing their eyes, or showing signs of inattention. In this case, the system appears to have produced a false positive while the car was traveling at roughly 63 mph.
