The new RAV4 PHEV (GR edition like you see here) is fantastically efficient, and in stop and go traffic, I was able to get this RAV4 up to 64 miles without engaging the gas engine. That's incredible, and it really opens up the range of use for this SUV since most people travel less than that on a day to day basis. Without spending much time on the highway, you can easily beat the RAV4 PHEV range estimate. And to be clear, I mean the interstate; most of the surface streets I drive on to work are 45mph zones or even 55mph. The new RAV4 has a pretty generous range of both capability and literal EV distance. And after that, the RAV4 just goes back to being an excellent hybrid RAV4 with another almost 500 miles of range. @Toyota USA
