GM just got hit with a class action over CVT transmissions in the Malibu, Trailblazer, Equinox, and Terrain. The lawsuit says GM has known about the slipping, shuddering, and power loss since 2021, and told dealers to tell customers it was normal. When a manufacturer tells the dealer to lie to your face, that is not a defect anymore. That is a decision.
