I’ll have between $1.2M to $2.7M in my 401k by age 60 even if I don’t put another dollar in. That’s the power of time and compound interest. In my early 20s, I focused on increasing my income while reducing my expenses, so I could invest as quickly and aggressively as possible. By frontloading my 401k for just a few years, all I have to do is sit back and watch it snowball over the next 3 decades. Now I’m saving for early retirement with a brokerage account, investing in index funds until I’m ready to branch out into bigger investments like businesses and real estate. Whether you’re young or not, now is the time to start investing, because time is your greatest asset. *Not financial advice, just sharing what works for me. Take some time to do your own research. Learning is fun!
