π³ Only The Grand Tour could turn three enormous 1970s American land yachts crossing a flooded causeway into a precision-driving exercise. β In Lochdown, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May were driving across Scotland in a Lincoln Continental Mark V, Buick Riviera Boattail, and Cadillac Coupe DeVille. β When James got stuck on the submerged crossing, Jeremy first tried using his own wake to lift the Cadillac free. β That failed, so Hammond joined in and the two of them charged toward James before braking hard to create a larger wave. β Against all logic, the combined wash actually lifted the Cadillac enough for James to get moving again. β It is exactly the kind of ridiculous problem-solving that made Clarkson, Hammond, and May such an entertaining trio. β Would you have trusted this plan, or assumed all three cars were about to end up underwater? β What are your thoughts? π€π β β ( Media: The Grand Tour ) β
